Who do you think will win the PGA Championship?
Hmm… My guess is that Tiger might win it but then I think Zach Johnson might have a chance due to his 60 today… if he shoots another 60…

Tiger Woods Links
1 Comment Published September 13th, 2007 in Golf Humor, Golf Links, Golf News, Tiger Woods. Here’s some useful information for following Tiger’s news or history:
- Jack’s Golf Report on Tiger Woods
- Tiger Wood’s swing as a kid (I think everyone has seen this but it’s good to know there’s a Youtube video)
- Tiger Wood’s Foundation (Here’s one thing I do admire about Tiger)
- Tiger, His Wife, and his kid (Congrats Tiger! That’s nice blonde…hehe)
- Tiger hits a woman on her head! (ouch…)
- Tiger’s Yacht (Kinda hilarious…)
We will be creating a Golf Social News site where people can see all the news in the world for golf… well… if I can just get my lazy ass to be in the same seat by my computer instead of heading to the driving range…

Junger Woods Swing Tips - The dreaded 60 yard wedge
1 Comment Published September 12th, 2007 in Golf News, Swing Tips, sand wedge, wedge shots.Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
The 60 yard wedge is probably the hardest for regular joe golfers. This is the shot I practice the most. This IS the shot that Tiger practices most too. (and probably more than 50% of the tour players)
The difference between Tiger and rest of the tour player is that he can hit the 60 yard fade and the draw. He will be able to work the ball even though he’s not hitting it far.
Well here’s simple guideline for practicing your 60 yard wedge:
1. keep your golf grip super light for distance control
2. Rhythm, rhythm, and rhythm
3. Try to hit it in the middle or slightly inside of your sand wedge.
4. Try to hit the ball only, no divot for super control. Whenever you make a big divot, you are inviting dirt into your clubface grooves, which causes your ball to either:
- bounce too much after landing
- fly too long
5. It’s just a smaller version of your full swing. Master this shot and it will help all other parts of your ball striking.
6. If this helped you, leave a comment!
P.S. Youtube video might be hard to see, but that ball landed 5 feet from the pin.

Yes, you can get a lesson with [tags]Butch Harmon[/tags] at Rio Secco, Henderson, Nevada, which is about 20 minute drive from the [tags]Las Vegas[/tags] airport. Although slighltly costly, you can get a lesson with Butch, former teacher of Tiger[tags]Tiger Woods[/tags] and current [tags]swing guru[/tags] for [tags]Phil Mickelson[/tags]Philly Mickelson.
check out his school info here.

Hi there, my name is Max.
Welcome to ProGolferDigest.com.
As a former pro golfer playing in various mini-tour tournaments and other stints as a Pro golfer, I’d like to share what I have learned from other Pro golfers and famous teachers such as Tiger’s old coach, Butch Harmon.
As a parody of Tiger Woods’ name, I made this site called “Junger Woods” since Jung is my legal name.
Why am I not on the PGA Tour yet?
Well, I broke my finger and I ran out of funding and money to keep going as a pro and dove into the corporate world, wasting my youth and energy to make a living. My finger injury lasted almost 2+ years before I could play normal golf again.
Now, I am on my own at least, making money with blogs. My next goal is to make enough money so I can support my pro-tour challenge. I know it’s going to take me couple years to get to the PGA, but I thought I’d make a blog and tell you about my journeys there.
I will be doing swing analysis of pro golfers and also critiquing my own golf swing. By simply reading my golf analysis, you will learn everything I have learned from various pro golfers and teachers.
Why don’t you become a teaching professional?
Well, I don’t want to end up as a golf teacher. My goal has been always to “play” competitive golf and nothing else. Heck, I do teach golf right here, on my blog. That’s the least I can do to give back the 19 years of golf experience that I have.
Besides, blogging actually freed me from the gruesome 9 to 5 schedule of a real “job”. Now I have more time to focus on golf and blab to you about golf.
Can you do any trick shots?
Yes, I actually do hold the record for most shots hit with 1 golf ball. You can watch the video here.
What’s your handicap?
Well, I haven’t had that much time to play lately since I have to make a living in front of my PC but I will shoot anywhere near par whenever I go out. (+1-3 handicap…) My lowest score is a 64 so far, which isn’t great by pro tour standards but yes, I will take most people’s money when we bet for skins. My goal is to shoot 4-6 under consistently on any course I play, which is something most pro tours can do.
Do you have any swing tips?
Well, my swing tips are kinda all over the place but while I get organized you can check out some of the tips here:
How to hit the dreaded 30 yard pitch shot
How to hit the 15 yard pitch shot with a 60 degree lob wedge
I also write a tech blog over at Zedomax.com, so check that out too!
