Tiger Shoots 1 Under Today, 3 Under Total!

Well, looks like Tiger finished early today, shooting a 1-under par for 3-under total.

He’s in good shape so he should have a GOOD chance of making a come-back this weekend.

Yes, I am rooting for Tiger since he hasn’t won in a long time.

Arnold Palmer Invitational This Weekend!

Well, it looks like it’s going to be an exciting weekend again, Tiger will be playing at Arnold Palmer Invitational.

I’ve been really busy with a bad flu this week but heck, I will be enjoying golf for sure.

Phil Mickelson will be missing out of action this weekend by the way, while the young Nick Watney will be contending.

My favorites are probably Tiger Woods, Nick Watney, and Paul Azinger.  Those are my “favorites” and might be lucky if any of them win, although I think Tiger might have a good chance since he’s “warmed” up through couple practice rounds.

Camilo Villegas Shoots 63 and Leads Buick Invitational 2009!

Wow, Camilo Villegas is on fire early this year and shoots 63 to lead the Buick Invitational on the first day.

Other notable names include Nick Watney, who I’ve played in junior golf with.  (Best of luck Nick, it’s time to win one!)

Well, we will see how the rest of the weekend goes but I think Camilo has a good chance of winning, due to the fact that he has been on a winning-run and not afraid of big name players.  (Isn’t he a big name player too now?)

I will have to place my bets on the young ones Camilo, Nick, and Rick.

Rick Barnes is also around, (whom I’ve also played junior golf with) great to see him playing good at -3.

And where’s Tiger?  I hope he comes back soon to the golf world. :)

Greg Norman Leads British Open by 2 – About to Become the Oldest Player to win a Major!

Wow, what a tournament.  I just finished watching the 3rd round of British Open as Greg Norman finishes up with a 2 shot lead and a 72 today.

What impressed me wasn’t the fact that he is 53 years old, it’s the fact that he’s able to turn back time to his 1986 Turnberry British Open championship.

I know if this was the Masters, Greg Norman wouldn’t have a good chance going into the final round but in this case, with Norman 2 shots ahead, it’s as good as in the bag.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Greg Norman eventually wins by 5-7 shots tomorrow.  He might be old but he’s still more in shape than most 30 year olds.  Plus, he knows how to win a British Open.

Well, I hope I am not wrong tomorrow and let’s see one of our favorite golfers win one of his last majors tomorrow.
