Padraig Harrington picks up his back-to-back major championship, the PGA Championship and the Birtish Open.

Meanwhile, Sergio Garcia was in the lead most of the day until the 16th hole, where he put his 2nd shot in the lateral hazard where the green is surrounded mostly by water.  His bogey there might have cost him the championship as Sergio did not make a bogey until that point. (He was at 4 under until 16th hole)

Padraig Harrington picks up a clutch-win here with 1-putts on 16, 17, and 18th hole.  His putter has found him another win while his driving was erratic during the last couple holes.

For the final round, Padraig Harrington shoots a 3-under (4-under for today) and Sergio Garcia shoots a 1-under(2-under today).

Even though Sergio Garcia didn’t win today, it was still a very good score on this course anytime you shoot under par.

Wow, the St. Jude Classic this year was a blast. With Robert Allenby and Justin Leonard in at 5 under, Trevor Immelman birdies the last 3 holes to also get in at 5 under.

The 3 players go in a playoff, all of them par the 18th hole.

Now watch as Justin Leonard wins on the next playoff hole:

(Ironic that I did a swing analysis of Justin just yesterday…)

Wow, this has to be one of the best finishes by Phil Mickelson.  Remember I did a swing analysis of Phil yesterday and predicted he’d win?

Lol… it was a very awesome final hole stretch as Phil made a par on the 15th hole to stay alive, then got out of major tree trouble on the 18th where he sank the birdie for the win.

On the 18th hole, Phil hit a nice wild short iron hook out of the rough and trees.  He hit the shot about 8 feet which was incredible with the amount of pressure that was riding but Phil knows how to handle that.

The results have been completely different if Phil didn’t putt as good as he did on the last 4 holes.

Great stuff Phil and let’s see if he keeps ‘em coming.

Sometimes, great focus and great shots come when you have to get out of trouble.  In this case, it definitely helped Phil make a birdie and the win.

Wow, we are going to have a playoff for the AT&T Classic between Ryuji Imada and Kenny Perry.

Who do you think will win?

Based on watching them play the 18th hole, I predict that Ryuji imada wins as he birdied the 18th hole while Kenny Perry played a “too-safe” route.  The playoff will begin on the 18th hole by the way.

I might be wrong though, lol… Golf cannot be predicted.
