Swing Analysis of Tim Clark - Driver
Published June 8th, 2008 in Swing Tips, Tim Clark, swing analysis.
Tim Clark is in the lead up to the 3rd round of this week’s PGA Tournament, Stanford St. Jude Championship, so let’s look at his swing.

On takeaway, Tim gets the clubface nicely rotated with his clubface blade pointing up at the sky. His swing plane is a little inside but that’s okay as he will get on-plane at the top of his swing.

At half-way point, Clark is doing good.

At the top of his swing, you can see that Tim is perfectly on-plane. It usually doesn’t matter how the player gets to this position as long as he/she does get to this point.

On downswing, you can see the Tim is perfectly on-plane again. Great stuff.

At impact, Tim hits the ball slightly inside-out for a nice draw.

After impact, notice how well his lower body moves. This is a great move.

At finish, Tim is well in balance and watching his ball go nice and straight, maybe a little draw.
