		<description>his swing slows at the end because he likes to feel the right hand working under the left through the release- basically holding it off.  A held off motion combined with Hogan&#039;s preference for a very firm grip in the fingers of the left hand will automatically cause deceleration past impact as he holds off rotation.  

When he does finish more in balance, it has nothing to do with deceleration, but rather simply a less than full swing, which is almost always optimal for the irons.</description>
