Recommended Irons of the Week - Titleist Z Blend Forged Irons!
I personally use Titleist irons, specifically the 690MB forged irons which they don’t sell anymore but the new Titleist Z Blend forged irons are probably the new, equivalent of those. I could probably tell you a lot of things about the features but let’s just say this is the recommended club for any low-handicapper to scratch [...] ...More

Parker McLachlin Iron Swing Analysis
Let’s take a look at Parker McLachlin’s iron swing, the winning swing of Reno Tahoe Open. (Too bad Michelle Wie didn’t make the cut AGAIN!) At takeaway, notice that Parker’s clubface is actually pointing down at the ground, a little too closed. This causes lots of pulls and balls that will start left and go left. [...] ...More

I hit the ball pretty good as usual, here’s my swing thoughts:
1. Control the swing with your body.
2. Develop a good continuous rhythm, similar to dancing or rappin’.
3. Stay centered over your body and balanced.

Recommended Irons of the Week - Titleist Z Blend Forged Irons!
0 Comments Published October 9th, 2008 in A+Featured Swing Tips, Golf Clubs, Golf News.
I personally use Titleist irons, specifically the 690MB forged irons which they don’t sell anymore but the new Titleist Z Blend forged irons are probably the new, equivalent of those.
I could probably tell you a lot of things about the features but let’s just say this is the recommended club for any low-handicapper to scratch players as it’s forgiving while the forged metal gives you more control over your ball flight.
Another very important thing 99% of golfers forget is the length, lie and loft of the irons. You need to get every iron set you get “fitted” correctly. FYI, my length is 1″ over standard, and lie is 2 degrees upright, and I have all my irons delofted about 1/2 a club since I tend to hit my iron shots quite high.
Choosing your set of golf clubs is important but without proper adjustments, you will hit the ball consistently to the left or right plus the fact that if your lie is off, you will hit the ball fat or thin even if you hit it perfect.
Titleist Z•B Forged irons are high performance, blended cavity-to-muscle back forged irons with traditional feel, superior looks and shot control for the highly skilled player.
The Z•B Forged irons blended set features cavity back long irons for playability and partial cavity mid irons blending to muscle back short irons for shot control. The contemporary Z back design precisely distributes weight from the heel into the toe, locating the center of gravity in the center of the face for solid feel.
Check out these Irons though, they look really nice.

Justin Timberlake Opens a Golf Course!
0 Comments Published October 2nd, 2008 in Golf News, swing analysis.
Justin Timberlake recently opened a new golf course.
But here’s the fun part, a swing analysis on Justin Timerlake’s followthrough:
1. His left arm is straight.
2. Right right arm is almost straight too.
3. Looks almost like Tiger here.
I am not too surprised Justin can play to a 4 handicap, congrats.
The singer Justin Timberlake likes to play a round of golf when he has the time, but soon he can play on his own eco friendly golf course, to be known as Miramichi Lakes.
The golf course is not brand new; in fact, the golf course was in some trouble before Justin stepped in and saved it. Once completed it is expected to be granted Platinum LEED certified green course standard, the first of its kind in the USA.

Smart Ball Marker!
4 Comments Published October 2nd, 2008 in A+Featured Golf News, Golf Gadgets, Golf News.
For hundreds of years, professional and amateur golfers alike have been using a coin to mark their balls. Now, here’s a new, innovative Smart Ball Marker from Titleist developement team that will help you align the ball better while also preserving the location of the ball much better.
Great concept and I am sure a bunch of pros are using this already on tour.
SAN MARCOS, Calif. — Scotty Cameron was excited. Actually, he was more than excited. He was pumped up, his enthusiasm bubbling over as he was proudly displaying his latest innovation.
It’s called the Scotty Cameron Ball Tool and it’s basically the next generation in ball markers. It’s a simple flat, square piece of metal with a small semi-circular indention cut into one side where the golf ball goes. Stamped on the marker right next to the indention is a series of alignment markers that allows the player to line up his putt even after he marks his ball.
Cameron got the idea earlier this year after he became aggravated watching professional golfers spend so much time going back and forth between the ball and the hole to make sure their balls were aimed properly at the cup.
