Padraig Harrington picks up his back-to-back major championship, the PGA Championship and the Birtish Open.

Meanwhile, Sergio Garcia was in the lead most of the day until the 16th hole, where he put his 2nd shot in the lateral hazard where the green is surrounded mostly by water.  His bogey there might have cost him the championship as Sergio did not make a bogey until that point. (He was at 4 under until 16th hole)

Padraig Harrington picks up a clutch-win here with 1-putts on 16, 17, and 18th hole.  His putter has found him another win while his driving was erratic during the last couple holes.

For the final round, Padraig Harrington shoots a 3-under (4-under for today) and Sergio Garcia shoots a 1-under(2-under today).

Even though Sergio Garcia didn’t win today, it was still a very good score on this course anytime you shoot under par.

(Greg Norman says Good-bye to spectators while he uses the Time Machine for the 1st three rounds)

The amazing part about this week is that I actually did predict for “Padraig Harrington” 2 days before the tournament even started:

With British Open coming up, players like Padraig Harrington will be at advantage as they get to play the course more often than American players.

Congrats to Padraig and here’s a re-cap of British Open while I went Norman-crazy:

After Round 1 - Will Greg Norman Win It? - It’s a funny question but he did win it for the next 2 days after that.

After Round 2 - Go Greg Norman! - Wow, Greg IS playing good.

After Round 3 - Greg Norman Leads by 2! - Yeah, it’s not that easy to end up here.

After Round 4 - Greg Norman doesn’t win, but he’s got more to show! - Yeah, it seems like Greg Norman hopped on a time machine, he’s probably got 3-5 more majors left.

Well, those are my predicitions for Greg Norman, let’s see what happens.

Padraig Harrington Driver Swing Analysis

With British Open coming up, players like Padraig Harrington will be at advantage as they get to play the course more often than American players.

Let’s look at Padraig’s swing and see his strengths and weaknesses.

I like how Padraig takes his club away from the ball.  He turns everything together nicely.

At the top, Padraig looks real good, starting his lower body as his backswing is finished.

At half-way down, Padraig looks pretty good, maybe a little too much lag than necessary.  (That might be why he hit this ball slightly to the right)

Too much lag can cause the golfer to release too late (or release not at all), causing the ball to fly well right of intended target).

At impact, Padraig hangs back a little too much but looks pretty good other than that.

After impact, Padraig loses control of his left foot, this could really be improved to help his stability and balance.

Overall, Padraig has a really good swing except some minor stuff he might want to concentrate on.

Who do you think will win the PGA Championship?

Hmm… My guess is that Tiger might win it but then I think Zach Johnson might have a chance due to his 60 today… if he shoots another 60…
